My current bike is a HONDA CBX250. Started my biking experience 13 years ago with a HONDA MTB80 which teached me road manners. So why do I bike? For the fuel economy and zippyness. I bought my current bike for commuting purposes to Campus (Stellenbosch University). But I am planning to take a 3 day trip along the beautiful West Coast of SOUTH AFRICA, so watch this space for some PICS of me bike and my SOUTH AFRICA! FIFA Soccer World Cup host 2010!!! |

2006 Honda CBX 250

Info: Bike is fairly standard. Thus far I have replaced the manufacturer''s exhaust pipe and replaced it with a Scorch Stainless Steel Pipe. Besides the lightness and performance, this particular pipe gives this 250cc a far better sound. Not planning to do any more on this bike.

Info: Was a nice bike to commute with. KYMCO''s gearboxes are however a problem, elusive neutral and crunchy gearbox. Overall a good bike to start with. Top speed about 90 Km/h, but the engine screams like hell, not made for that speed. If you like cruisin'' at 70 km/h (40 mph), then go for it. This bike doesn''t like slopes or hills, 35 km/h is the top speed what you''ll get with a rider of 70 Kg. An
