Information: I bought this K1-model GSXR from a friend. Despite the tatty condition it was too cheap to refuse. Originally a German import (so I was told), the bike had already suffered a lowside crash on the right-hand side when my friend bought it in Feb 2007. He ran the bike for five months when it decided enough was enough and the engine developed a nasty knock. A replacement K2 engine was fitted and I bought it shortly afterwards. The bike is fitted with a full Akrapovic exhaust (sporting a cut-down silencer due to crash damage), a Dynojet Power Commander and Pirelli Dragon Supercorsa Pro tyres (180-section rear). The horrible mirrors are cheap CBR600 copies in an unconvincing carbon finish.
