1985 Kawasaki 750 Turbo
Photos: 5
Purchased: Mar 1997
Sold: Jan 1998
Info: The best damn bike I have ever owned.
Spent a working holiday year in Oz, bought the immaculate Turbo for $2000 (just 800 quid!!!) and then spent the next 8 months touring, thrashing, commuting and grinning.
Great for playing with traffic during the 25 minute ride to work through central Sydney (crossing the Harbour Bridge on the way)
It was happy to lug me, the girlfriend and our 100lb

1999 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Drifter
Photos: 0
Purchased: May 2000
Sold: Aug 2001
Info: Looked beautiful... handled a lot better than you´ld think... just no wind protection and those bars were wide!
I fell in love with the Drifter at first sight - and it turned heads wherever I went. The problem was that I felt like I´d been 10 rounds with Lennox if there was any distance involved.
A screen could have sorted it, but then it wouldn´t be the same bike, would it?

1986 Kawasaki GPZ 1000
Photos: 5
Purchased: Aug 1994
Sold: May 1996
Info: Took absolutely no shit from anyone or anything on the road. An excellent tourer too, it buzzed from Reading to Barcelona and back over three weeks of surprisingly comfortable blasting, cruising and posing. Turbine-like speed delivery, I "enjoyed" only one tankslapper on the RX, enough to educate me in the power of this monster. 175mph on the clock of an 11 year old bike? Nuff said.

1976 Suzuki GT 500
Photos: 5
Purchased: Apr 1993
Sold: Sep 1995
Info: Mad accelerating, revving forever, wacky handling, wheelie-tastic nutter bike.
Smoked like a chimney (even with new rings), didnīt know the meaning of "STOP" and probably gave me more laughs per cc than any of my other bikes (īcept the Turbo, of course).
Probably on one wheel somewhere at this moment.
