These are the current pictures of my bike. You can compare the old with the new. The tank and side covers have been air brushed and the wheels painted. Much of the chrome is new. The starter still makes a noise but I am told this is due to bad design of 83 models. The bike runs and sounds great. Riding here in the Philippines is different than the States or most other countries. There are no speed limits, no yield the right of way and really few, if any, driving laws. Most all roads are is poor condition. For these reasons, I take care where and how I ride my bike. |

Info: The bike has been a lot of fun. The only problem I have had has been with the starter bendix. It is new but still makes a bad noise when startings. The gears make a bad noise when both coming together starting and after start for a few seconds. I checked this in the States with a very experienced Yahama dealer friend and he told me it was simply a bad design for that year. My bike runs, sounds, an
