2006 Suzuki Sv650s

Purchased: Jul 2012
Info: Finally found an used SV650S with only 505 miles. It sat in storage for almost 5 years before original owner traded for another bike. Replaced original OEM clip on handlebars with the SV650 Standard model for less wrist pressure and more comfortable on long range rides. Also replaced break lines for more robust breaking. Added a throttle lock for comfort as well. Another Suzuki masterpiece.
2013 Suzuki Burgman 400

Purchased: Aug 2014
Info: It is not a motorcycle and takes a little time to get used to the riding position, however, it is very well designed with low cg, excellent performance for a single cylinder engine, flexible riding options, multiple storage compartments, excellent stability even under high wind, excellent instrumentation and very good interstate road performance for a 400 cc engine.
2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 800

Purchased: Oct 2008
Sold: Jul 2009
Info: Not comfortable riding motorcycle for long distances. Has mild manners, economical to operate, semi-good rider ergonomics and good $ value...provided you like this type of bike. Had to know why cruisers have such an appeal... Not for me!

Info: Fun bike for country roads. Inexpensive, proven reliability and easy to maintain. A good buy.

Purchased: Nov 2011
Sold: Jul 2012
Info: Phenomenal bike. Had to have it for true riding enjoyment and just plain fun. It''s greatest attributes are: engine performance, excellent ergonomics and design and manufacturing quality. If I had enough storage place and the obvious $$, I certainly would have kept it. She will be missed!
2008 Kawasaki Versys

Purchased: Jul 2009
Sold: Jun 2010
Info: Great bike for country roads and twistes. Quite fast, fun to ride and very reliable. Not as comfortable as a VStrom. Seat not good for longer rides. Engine very buzzy and harmonics severely vibrated on the instrument clusters. Annoying
2007 Suzuki Bandit 1250s

Purchased: May 2007
Sold: Oct 2008
Info: May not be as comfortable on long trips as the as the V-Strom because the seat is a real torture after 30 minutes of riding, however, the engine is a true winner in all senses; powerful, economical, smooth across the power band and with a torque curve that is a masterpiece of engineering design. The best aspect of this bike is its is said around this part of the world...not too shabby
2002 Suzuki DL 1000

Purchased: Apr 2003
Sold: May 2007
Info: One of the best bikes I''ve ever owned. Very comfortable for long trips and around town as well. Well designed with excellent hardware and powerful engine, fuel efficiency and pretty much maintenance free all around, except for its finicky fuel injection system which needs closer attention periodically. I believe the FI has been fine tuned for the later models. I did not have any issues with the &q
