Information: My second bike, a 2000 YZF600R. Great bike, couldn´t have asked for a better daily commuter. Great low and midrange power, excellent handling qualities, brakes that rival most literbikes, and above all else, COMFORTABLE! The less aggresive seating position combined with the clip-ons being relatively high make for a very comfortable ride.
UPDATE: Sold my truck, so i went to spend some money on the bike. went with a 520 chain (stock was 530) and went down 1 tooth on the front sprocket and up 3 teeth on the rear sprocket. Got a shift kit, a tank bag, and a Double Bubble Screen. Got a new tail section with the undertail and taillights off an 01-02 R6. Got a taillight/turn signal integrator and a full new set of gear (HJC Symax Modular Lid w/Chrome Shield, A-Stars T-Venom Air-Flo Textile Jacket, A-Stars Air-Flo Mesh/Textile Pants, A-Stars SP-3 Gloves, and A-Stars Ridge Boots).
She is still in line for a paint job as well as some other cosmetic improvements this winter (new grips, bar ends, mirrors, pegs, preload adjustors, guages, etc).
UPDATE: Sold the bike to a friend so i could move on (notice i didn´t say move up) to an R1.
