2006 Triumph Sprint ST

Photos: 5
Purchased: Jul 2009
Info: An absolute dream to ride.... even the missus likes it. In any event it''s good to be back on a Trumf. Update ... this bike turned out to be the most problematic machine ever built. I sold it after giving up completely in 2011 and will never own another Triumph because of the way I was dealt with by them.

Purchased: Oct 2003
Sold: Apr 2006
Info: ´Thumper´ ... 400 V-twin, handles and goes. Great fun. Sad to see it sold .... but the Triumph makes up for it.

Info: The fairing is the only reason I´ve still got my legs ... head on crash, car a write off and me and the bike survived. Score one for two wheels. The fairing looks a bit naff by modern standards, but at the time it wasn''t so bad, it certainly kept the weather away. If anyone knows where it is now please let me know ... the reg. was LHL 38W
1993 Triumph Daytona 1200

Photos: 7
Purchased: Mar 2006
Sold: Aug 2007
Info: Actually it´s a ´1000´ and not a ´1200´ but the system doesn´t list this model. The bike is completely standard. A misfiring and unreliability issue arose shortly after buying the bike. As I prefer to be ''hands on'' I sorted this out myself with a set of new coils rather than whimper back to the shop. Anyone needing advice on this bike should email me ... not saying I can help but if I can I will.
2001 Suzuki Hayabusa

Purchased: Jul 2007
Sold: Jul 2009
Info: Wanted one of these since they first came out, finally found this one ... another tick in the box of life. This is a 2000 model and was registered in 2001 ... which makes it one of the unrestricted missiles. Now sold but definately missed.

Info: Roli´s Bike. Roland Grice 1958 -2004. A Friend and a Biker. No apologies for putting this bike, which wasn''t mine, on here. Roli, a really good friend from my hometown of York, sadly passed away before he got the chance to come up to Scotland on his new bike and cruise the coast. RIP Roli.
