Information: this is a 1977 CB750 F1,Super Sport(LOL), that i am currently rebuilding. have had the bike for quite a while, but have always had something new to keep me ocupied.Well got hit by a car in april, and am now looking to finish the old girl off,so am keeping a little photo archive here, to show what i have been up to. first of all the motor has recieved a Wiseco 836cc big bore kit,and relivant carbi and airbox work, and believe me, the old girl gets up and goes, but that was done a while ago, and the bloke that did it didnt do a very good job, so the motor is comming out again for a freshen. i have also rebuilt the front brakes with a mastercylinder i have laying around from the firestorm, put new seals in the caliper ,and replaced the rubber lines...27 years and they were a little weathered. Have replaced the fork seals, and also fitted taper roler bearings to the steering head. Next was the set of low, clip on style bars, the originals were to upright and used to hurt my back,so this solves that prob:).Had to modify the switch blokes, because honda thought that it was a great idea to put the switch wiring through the bars.... and of course any bars that you get after market didnt have the holes, so got the rat tail file out and put some half round grooves in the side of the switch blocks now the wires come out the sides ,like most modern bikes. I am also using a dirt bike mirror mount on the right side, due to the fact that the Firestorm mastercylinder doesnt have any provision for a mirror, you can see it i one of the pics, these are only temperary, i have a set of bar end, cafe racer style mirrors, by a company calles nepoleon(?), and they look really cool, will post pics when they get here. The tank is NOS, as is the side covers, and instruments, front gaurd, full exhaust, points cover, and clutch cover...and probably worth more than the hole bike combined!!!! haha.
