I bought my first 1990 FZR1000 in 1994. After 2nd gear blew, I bought a carbon copy 90 FZR1000 in 2003. That gave me the oppurtunity to ride, as well as time to install a 1040 in my first fizzer. Up to this point I have more than 30k miles on my fizzers and believe it to be the best bike of the late 80´s and 90´s, quite possibly the best ever for a sportbike. When I came across a mint 95 FZR1000 in late 2003 I could not resist. Three bikes now, love this model bike of all the bikes I have ridden. The 95 is the best of the best. Though not as comfortable for a 200 mile ride as the 90´s.

Info: Shown here are both my 1990 model fzr1000´s. One is a mostlty stock 90 with 6 pots up front, d&d exhaust slip-on, jack up kit using shorter dogbones to raise rear 2 inches, and V&H powerpak for the brains. The other is my project bike, now with a 1040 and awaiting some fresh plastic/paint. So far the 1040 appears to be a monster. The previous motor propelled this bike to 126mph with a 22

1995 Yamaha FZR 1000
Photos: 9
Info: I Bought this 95 model in late 2003 with under 9K miles. The 95 is the result of 9 years at the top of the open class sportbike lineup. With a rock solid chassis, smooth powerful engine, capable of leaving all but the fastest in the mirrors. This bike gives nothing up to the latest repli racers. I currently have a Yoshi slipon, V&H powerpak ignition box, and dunlop D207´s.
