1986 Kawasaki GPZ 900
Photos: 4
Purchased: Oct 1990
Sold: May 2000
Info: First generation 900cc (GPz) Ninjas were produced for the U.S. market from 1984 to 1986. I first saw one (an ´85 model) in the movie TOP GUN. Fortunately for me, I found this ´86 model in 1990 as a four-year-old leftover!!! I sold it almost 10 years later with over 21,000 miles on it and still in excellent condition. What wonderful bike it was!

1989 Yamaha YX 600
Photos: 2
Purchased: Feb 1990
Sold: Oct 1990
Info: This 600cc Radian was my first street bike. It was an excellent platform for the inexperienced rider. Although, with its short wheelbase it was prone to wheelie in almost every gear! It also suffered "high-speed wobble" above 70 mph.
