Info: 1988 Honda CBR 1000F-J. European Specs. Runs like a scalded dog! Fastest I have had it is 240 kph (approx 145 mph). Wasn''t a sustained speed, it felt kind of spooky going that fast. I am more comfortable at 160 kph (about 100 mph) on the autobahn. As far as the back roads, it hugs the curves like the dress on a pop princess. Purchased from a place called Montana Motorcycles. Info: Can ALWAYS use a little more Love. I purchased it in 2003and it had some fading but nothing that affected the performance of the engine. Itīs a strong bike with lots of "Get-Up-And-Go!" Scoots along real nice though! I went from Bitburg to Kaiserslautern in 45 minutes! The guy I sold it to has it torn down and is rebuilding it from the ground up.
