Information: What can you say? This is the alpha of Japanese Superbikes. A design breakthrough so stunning in 1969 that everyone had to make one to stay in the game. The 1969 to 1978 model of this bike changed motorcycling history - called the "Bike of the Century" by a few magazines. This one is the last year of the SOHC head and thus the legit "Ur"-Japanese superbike. It has been resored and has only 11k original miles on it. It is 10/10 according to my brother - who bought it on my behalf in the Chicago area and is storing it for me until I come out and help frame his Lakewood mini-mansion and then am forced to ride it back to Seattle (Oh, I am so (not) sad). He gets free carpentry work, I get to ride cross country. Everyone´s happy. I am getting correct side panels made now, and then once it´s back in Seattle, I am gonna do a thorough detail on the restoration, then upgrade it with a CB1000 front end with 39mm downtubes, dual disks, and anti-dive technology. Once that is done it is highly unlikely I will finish medical school since I will be riding up to Fairbanks, AK, across to Alberta, then down to Denver. So that may take a while.
