Information: The Omega of Japanese superbikes, standard version. In 1984 it disappeared and Honda went solo with the raked-out Sabre/Magna V-fours and the end of an era was marked with tears. This sweet girl has only 10k on her and is just broken in. I have done a lot of work to her, blasting and painting engine cases, serious polish on the pipes and some body parts, but she looks lovely now. This is the first in-line four over 550cc I have ever owned, and oh what a blast. I am beginning to become a Christian, since you see Jesus as soon as that tach climbs up over 7k. Then the arms start coming out of the sockets and it gets interesting. I just may have to go get a Kawasaki KZ1000 Eddie Lawson to get my full fix. A friend bought a 2005 Suzuki GSXR 1000, and after an afternoon on that, I am re-thinking my long-time aversion to in-line fours - it only took 35 years, but they finally have all the bugs out of the power band! She looked "standard" (like the first picture - though not my bike) when I got her. Now I have her about done - faired, case guards, hard bags, just got to find a comfy saddle and she will be a keeper.
