I began biking as a pillion on a ZX6-R Ninja in February 2004. Loved it so much I decided to do my CBT and bought myself an NSR.
After a few set backs and an expired CBT, I got back into things in November 2006 and bought myself Stanley, a Yamaha YBR 125. I passed my restricted test in June 2007 and now have a purple ER-5.
My biking highlights so far have been the tour round Normandy in September 2004, and the trip across Europe in May 2007. |

Info: This was my first bike, and looking back we never did see eye to eye! I found the 2-stroke engine too tempremental and not at all learner friendly (especially hill starts!). I hold this bike responsible for knocking my confidence, as I thought that I would never get the hang of riding. A serious road accident (car) caused me to sell him, as I thought I had been put off riding for life!

Info: Meet Stanley, my trusty YBR who gave me my confidence back and saw me through my test in June 2007. Me and Stanley have been through a lot together and I am sad to see him go. But he understands that I must move on to bigger and better bikes and hopefully he can help someone else to pass their test too.
