Information: My First Serious Bike. I am really glad of it. Easy to handle and has plenty of power for a starter bike. I can honestly recommend GS for anyone who doesn''t have motorcycle experience. In the beginning of 2007 I installed new exhaust (muffler) from 2005 GSXR 600. It wasn''t easy but it was worth the effort :) You can see results by yourself :) It looks sooo much better. I also re jetted my bike with dynojet stage 1 (132 main jet) I also changed the air filter to K&N RU-2970 (it has the best available air flow). I think that every owner of GS should do rejetting and change the air filter! Pefrormance is a way better and engine works a lot smoother. My [engine] almost completely lost its characteristic [for GS500] vibrations. I don''t have to mention that starting is less painful and takes shorter time. Another mod I did was flush mount front turn signals and rear turn signals from 2005 GSXR 600. Looks really good in my opinion. I also did the fenderectomy and got rid of that ugly thing :) Newest info: I recently installed new muffler!! I chose LEO VINCE SBK - bolt-on for GSXR! It is amazing!! The sound is incredible!! I''ve never thought that this little 500ccm bike can produce such an nice sound.
