Information: My Dads Yamaha FJ1200, this is a rare bike for what it is, the ´89 model is hard to come buy, put is such a versatile piece of machinery. It has tremendous horsepower (135hp) and has huge torque for an old school Jap-4. It has enormous aceleration, which can accelerate the bike from 0-100km/h in a mere 2.94 seconds, with 11.2 second capabilities for the quarter mile. (I read thses on the net, my old boys too old to try that shit!) The bike makes a great soft-sporter/tourer, and can keep up wiht most new mild Jap-4´s, while the large and wide seat with long fairing makes touring a breeze. It is quite easy to sit on this bike for hours at a time without being hunched ove rlike most performance bikes on the market, while still providing enormous amounts of consistetnt mind blowing performance. As mentioned, a very versatile and enjoyable bike. Highly reccomended by my old man! But he hasnt let me ride it yet. Bugger
