Information: 1991 Kawasaki KDX 125SR
Endurobike for road and offroad use. Frame similar to the one on KX 125, Engine is also almost the same, only with different KIPS, Cylinder, Carb, and exhaust, Electrics. Very light, about 100kg.
Very easy to handle, fast enough, plenty of power all the way from low revs to the red limit. (don´t know where that is though...) And a bit more power on the top. Approx. 28hp derestricted with Boyesen reeds. The engine "answers" well. Fast enough to keep up with much newer, and more expensive bikes on offroad routes. (I´m not a pro rider, though) Quiet and economic.
Rear suspension could be better.

Acerbis LED taillight
Boyesen reed valves
Removed passenger foot taps
Removed mirrors

Would like to have: SPES exhaust, with silencer and a Keihin 34mm carb. New adjustable rear shock.
Otherwise I love this bike! Excellent build quality if taken well care of. I have had no big problems with this bike even if it is 14 years old and have been rolling 30 000 km. Beat that! =)
