Information: I bought this miracle peice after my YZ80 got far too small. I got this one for a mere $800 running, but had a small snafu at my first practice session on it, and seized the engine. Yes, I was runing the correct Oil:Gas mixture and the right coolant. I guess when I whipped it, the oil poured into the pipe and starved the motor. Anyway, I had a friend bring a peaky 88 RM125 motor from my shifter cart project and stuffed that in, qualified for 125 Junior and won the first moto. I came second in the second moto for first overall. It sported a pair of KTM 250SX WP forks, a CR250 shock and a full FMF exhaust. When I tried to win a series, I hit another snafu when I was riding distracted and collided with a lapper, rupturing my spleen and ending my attempt. I sold the bike soon after. The RM125 motor made 44 HP in the shifter cart, but we figure we only made 40 with the FMF pipe and silencer. I finally dug the original motor out for my 80/125 project. turns out something got stuck in the piston intake window and jammed it up. Figures. This bike, along with my ´TM´250, gave me a damn good reason to build linkless mono. This one ramped the rate up too slowly, and I bottomed constantly.
