Information: 125cc, 4 stroke. Bought second-hand from a local dealership, with low mileage and in good condition, the bike was something I''d been hankering after for some time and after a test ride I had to have it. Compared to my previous scooters this bike is so much more rewarding to ride. Its performance feels slightly lower than my previous SR125, however the excellent fuel mileage and the fact that you can "off-road" more than make up for this. Some subtle visual modifications have been made consisting of smaller indicators (Motrax Micro Diamond black/clear), removed pillion foot pegs with custom bracket to hold back brake light switch, removed pillion foot exhaust heat shield, removed tool kit box, removed number plate light, repositioned number plate and rear reflector, and tail light modified to illuminate number plate. As the bike is also used as daily transport some practical modifications have been made such as the heated over grips (Oxford Hot Hands) and tyre sealant (Goop). July 2007 saw the bike get a overhaul when I stripped it back to a rolling frame so that I could get to areas which had begun to rust. Any rust spots were treated with Jenolite, before covering the nearly the entire frame in Waxoyl. Waxoyl was also injected into the frame to prevent any internal corrosion. The bike was then rebuilt and looked exactly the same as before, except for a small mud flap between the rear wheel and the shock absorber.
