Information: Overall a GREAT bike!
I use it for commuting to college & also the odd weekend ride with some mates.
So far the fuel economy is excellent averaging around 3.9lt per 100kms! So, I have estimated on the 22lt tank that I should get around 450kms on the highway. I always use the best fuel I can buy, but generally use the Caltex Vortex 98.
The modifications include Hepco & Becker centre stand (about 1/2 the price of Suzuki), Hepco & Becker side crash bars, Ventura rack & bag, headlight protectors and knuckle protectors that are the same as the DL1000 model (easy to fit). The next accessories will be a radiator guard andd then bash plate. I will probably single-seat register the bike and also save on the rego costs. Yes, I would definately recomend this bike to anyone that wants a good all-rounder and has the power to cruise on the highway and have some fun on the twisty roads. I hope to also get a Staintune exhaust for it just to get the V-twin engine to sound sweet.
