Information: This bike was an unbelievable performer. It was the third edition of Yamaha´s revolutionary R1 that appeared in 1998...changing the sportbike world forever. This motorcycle was a fun bike for local driving, but wasn´t very good on long trips. I sold it with just over 800 miles on the odometer, because I bought a 2003 FJR1300 which provided almost as much punch as the R1, but with long distance manners.
