Information: This is my new ride. a rm 250. it is down for repairs and so this has been the first oportunity i have had to photograph it. i will put a photo on when it is finished. it has a chromed pipe and shortened silencer. the stickers on the plastics are in good condition and the seat has a ceet cover on it but it is getting a bit worn. the cylender has developed two cracks around the rear engine bolts which is why it is pulled apart. this bike realy screams flogs the pants of my last bike (cr125). i have only one a couple of gripes with it and that is the cracked cylender and the top triple clamp, it is the type on rubber mounts. because just dropping the thing will move the bars making them out of align. it is a real pain. NEW* I have since completed the rebuild and had it running sweet as. i have gone through lots of back tyres because of the tyre spinning on the rim. the smart fellas at the moto shop kept charging me and puttin more rim locks on till the smart fellas realised that the rim is wider than std. and would be on because the bike was probably set up for supermotard or something with a road tyre. i have fixed the problems with the bar mounts by grinding down a spacer that was stopping the tapered sections from tightening further. i have since broken the kick started and front master brake resiviour. the parts should be in in the next couple of weeks. i havnt ridden it in 6months or more and cant wait for uni to finish so i can use my weekends more productively. during the rebuild i also found that it has dual stage reeds and an ´o´ ring chain and all the bolts have small holes drilled in them with wire twisted up to stop them from coming undone mabey? i need a new spark plug cause its a bitch to start and has gotten smokier than when i first got the rebuild done. that should fix it.
