Member Info: I don´t like taking time away from my family on the weekends, so I mostly ride to and from work or to meet my buddies for a chat. I bought a Buell Blast for my wife (I tried to get her to go for a Ninja 250) and she´ll soon have her license, so I hope that we´ll go riding together on the weekends with some group rides. I rode my first time when I was about 14 visiting my relatives on the farm in Illinois. My uncle had just purchased a small displacement bike, probably 90cc, which I was able to convince him to let me ride. I´m surprised I didn´t get hurt then... Later in the Air Force, at 19, I dumped someone else´s bike and received enough road rash (and crap from my CO) to convince me to follow my dad´s advice (he´s a plastic surgeon) and avoid motorcycles. It´s sad that I gave up something I really loved just to make everyone else comfortable. Fortunately, before it was too late I realized that if I didn´t start riding again soon, I´d probably be too old to enjoy it. My dad was right, I had two other serious drops. One with nasty knee road rash and another hitting the ground at 110+ breaking both my hands and right foot and guess what, more knee road rash...LOL But I´m back on a bike again because I really love riding. I know I´ll go down again sometime... It really doesn´t matter though because I have a high pain threshold and a history of falling off bikes, horses and motorcycles...!!! When´s it´s time for the nursing home, I´ll be looking to get a "butt rocket"...

Info: I felt I got a steal of a deal on this sweetheart. The suspension is a little stiff, but I want to put a corbin seat on it before I decide to soften it. Otherwise itīs amazing how powerful this bike it. My ī02 ZX-9R was a real neck breaker, but this baby has caught me off guard twice with itīs rush of power. I followed a friend home from work to see his new home being built and stopped

Info: This was a great bike. I loved this Kow color scheme. The only kow color scheme I like better is the ZX-9R 2001 Red in the same pattern. Alas, My big green dragon was demolished last year :( Great wind protection At 170, I felt no drag on my body... Ridden daily at 90+ with no discomfort. Very very comfortable even past 120... Stock windscreen and corbin seat. great for commuting. I&

Info: I´m not afraid to admit that I loved riding this bike. It´d been more than 25 years since I´d been on a bike and I was looking for a ZX-6R when I came across a steal of a deal on this Ninja 250. My budget was really cracked by the 2000 market crash and I´d rather ride than not so I choked down my pride and climbed on this cute little bike. The stock tires suck though. I wa
