Information: 1989 Suzuki GSX600F Katana, dark blue with gold/red detail, everything stock.
For a beginner, the ''89 Katana was a dream to own and ride--low maintenance, great performance, real dual exhausts, and enough out of its era that you couldn''t make it beautiful no matter what you did, so you just rode it for the love of riding. This bike was way better than the 2002 Katana 600 I regretfully replaced it with. The deal was too good to be true, and you know how that goes... At three grand the ''89 was a much better investment, and I sold it two years later for the same price. I won''t say how badly I lost my shirt on the ''02. :-)
