My story..Ive loved bikes since before I could speak, but was never able to convince my parents to buy me 1.As my dad had also been riding from a young age,he knew the kind of trouble us boys get ourselves into on a bike with our mates around.I had the luxury of riding family members quadbikes on farms and little bikes like 50-80cc.Until got a job as soon as i could saved my pennies and bout my first bike a 1990 xr200R in mid feb 2006.On this I learnted all fun a pain to be had on a bike, riding a local field and bush track.Racing mates being, seeing who could jump the highest and the longest, being chased by cops the works.A few months later dad bought two Ct110x''s postie bikes, my brother had enormous amounts of fun these, pushing eachother to the limits astounding people with the things we could do on them. Then as you always do i was chasin something more, more power to be presise i got my hands on a 2001 Ktm125sx which sent shivers up my spine everytime i rode for about the first week.As it was my mates bike which i rode mostly showing him things about it along the way. After a few months I was again chasing more when to my suprise dad suggested an 400 4stroke(as he hates two bangers) I was never going to let this pass.I looked and found my next steed, the 1997 Xr400R was the best looking Xr in brisbane and went like carzy, all the performance mods sore me carving up 250 two strokes and all other 400''s.After a few months of riding in all the gnarliest and tricky terrain along with motorcross i was wanting the ultimate 4stroke.Which in 2007 led me to purchased my now most favoured possesion, the best money i ever spent on my 2002 CRF450R, which was in betta nick some of the 2006''s getting around, while still on original tyres it had done bugger all work so I had to make it the next addition to my collection. |
