Information: This is my pride and joy, its an aprila rs50 2000-2002 model, but it was not registered until 2003 when i bought it brand new, i have had it for about 7 months now and it is the most fun u can have at 16. I have made no engine modifications apart from a new exhaust, but I have changed the bike a bit cosmetically: new indicators, white rim tape and tyre pen, mk race exhaust, anodised wheel caps, passenger pegs removed and chrome exhaust hanger made, yellow and grey tank pad. The bike redlines just under 60mph but my top speed record is 70mph (indicated) which isnt bad for a 50cc. The bike has not had many problems, only the electrics went, but it was an easy job to repair, I have also had to replace the rear tyre due to a puncture. I have recently remade the race exhaust by cleaning it out, changing the wadding, sanding it down and re-spraying it. Future plans for this bike could be a 70cc kit with all the little race bits, or I may sell it around dec 2004 to upgrade to a rs125.
