Information: Bike previously owned by Mister Dog (photos shown this website). I bought this Bike in March of 2004 and had it completely rebuilt by December in the same year, by McCullochs Suzuki Vic Park. Overall cosmetics weren´t too bad, the business end of things however was very tired and much abused by previous ownership. Now - Motor blue printed, balanced sporting shot peened rods. Good for 11,500rpm. Suzuki factory cams fitted, jetted to suit, still has air pods, engine now produces 170HP. Having difficulty getting Pops Yoshimura pipes for it - no one seems to wanna sell me any, not even the distributors. Currently has a mere 2,316kms on the clock since its rebuild. Barely run in, Frighteningly staggering performance. Stands up in first three gears - no probs. Last of the original Slingshot Models produced in 1988 its dry weight was 199kg. With the added ponies, its a real street killer now! Might be an oldie, but a damn goodie. This is my sixth GSXR1100 J - Had all Black/Gold save and except a tri colour 1986 model. I just love em. My thanks to Kevin Schwantz and the late Barry Sheene for being all they could be with these machines.
