Information: Bike was purchased by my stepfather from his neighbor for $1500 in late ''05. During ''06 we tore down and rebuilt the bike from the ground up, cleaned, replaced, rewired, and repainted. Bike was all black when we got it, and the previous owner didn''t have a clue as to how nice of a bike it really was. I purchased it from my stepfather May ''07. It has 18k miles and has had no major issues except minor carb work. All in all the bike is in great shape, and I plan on putting some miles on it this summer. I think these bikes have way more style and character than the newer crotch-rockets. I can appreciate the technology of new bikes, but there''s nothing like a good 70''s or 80''s sportbike. I get more questions and head turns than someone with a modded Hayabusa. So far, I haven''t seen anyone else here in Oklahoma with a +/- ''82 GPz 750 R1, and I may be the only one with a roadworthy one. That''s half the fun for me. Please let me know if I''m wrong! I''d love to talk with someone else that has one in my area!
