2007 Ducati Hypermotard 1100

Photos: 27
Purchased: Feb 2008
Info: The most comfortable bike I''ve owned so far. The Hypermotard is way too much fun. You can carry corner speed and you have the low to mid range torque to fire off out of the corner too! Very subdued exhaust note with the standard pipes.

Purchased: Aug 2001
Sold: Jun 2005
Info: I did 67000km of trouble free riding on this awesome machine and it still looks as good today as it did when i bought it. It damn near goes as hard too! Thank you Suzuki for many years of fun. In fact i decided to buy another Gsxr because of it.
1999 Honda VTR 1000

Purchased: Apr 2000
Sold: Aug 2001
Info: My first real "big banger". Great fun to ride and the sound was amazing. I really should have got some rearsets for it because the standard ´pegs constantly deck out in corners. Carbon high-rise exhaust pipes meant most people could hear me streets away. Not once did a car cut me off in traffic.

Sold: Apr 2000
Info: My first "road" bike. Lots of fun and very handy to have the storage area in the "fuel tank". Fits a lot of stuff in there with no need for a backpack, etc. Needs a bigger fuel tank though.
2003 Suzuki GSX-R 1000

Photos: 12
Purchased: Jun 2005
Info: Lighter, faster, meaner! Hee hee. What a weapon. Insane wheelie machine. Its almost impossible not to feel like you want to ride this as fast as you can everywhere. Sadly this bike was lost to a Toyota Prado that used it as a speed bump.
2004 Honda CBR 1000 RR

Photos: 14
Purchased: Jul 2006
Info: Very refined and very "Honda". Not quite as much fun as the GSXR but still a good bike. 2 extra teeth on the rear sprocket increases the acceleration. 10.5sec 400m time at 220kmh. Handles much quicker if you fit a 180 section tyre to the rear instead of the 190. Breathing is a little strangled as standard. Jardine exhaust and airbox valve removal sorted that.. Amazing brakes, gre

2003 Honda CBR 600

Info: I did a track test on this one in 1st quarter of 2003. Handles absolutely amazing. If it had the power of my bike i would have bought one. Wonder if the CBR1000 will feel the same. I might have to buy one.

Info: Photo from Brisbane Motor Show 2005. Nice power but it really lags behind the GSXR.
2004 Ducati Monster 1000

Info: Comfortable, but man is that clutch heavy. Needs some more poke as it runs out of puff way too soon.
