Info: Had this bike for one year which I purchased for 200.00 CDN. Didn''t run and had serious problems. Didn''t even have keys and when I finally was able to get the engine to turn over there was no spark not mentioning what the carbs would have looked like inside. Seat wasn''t the right one. Info: This was my first motorcycle which I owned for over five years. I learned to ride with this machine, taught myself and have been teaching others with no problems since. Great starter bike even better if you are short since it is the lowest sport bike you can find anywhere. Newer Gs500''s are higher though keep that in mind if seat height is a concern. Info: Had this bike for around two years. Had problems with the tranny, giving it extra gas in gears one,two and three would make the gears slip. The bike felt it had the potential to be very fast. Had it up on the highway at around 300 kph, don''t know for sure since the speed gauge didn''t work. Somehow it was missing it''s sixth gear and had electrical problems, choke and spark problems. Bad on gas also

Info: This is my brothers bike. However I taught him to ride with it and inturn got his license. Have done lots of work on it also. These bikes of the V-four confiquration in this age group suffer horribly from soft cam lobes and additionally have bad top end oil pressure problems. A external oil kit has been released but costs around 400.00 CDN. Honda also warrantied the camshafts for a ten year period
