Information: This was my first bike which I owned over a five year period. I learned to ride on this machine and have been teaching others with no problems since. Great starter bike even better if you are short since it was the lowest sport bike you could find at the time. Newer Gs500''s are higher howevever, keep that in mind if seat height is a concern. This bike went through a complete transformation during the time I owned it. Modifications at the time of sale: -Progressive front suspension -Vance and Hines supersport exhaust -K&N Style pod intakes (Better power and sound) -Dyno jet stage three kit with newer 2001 carbs -NGK racing spark wires -Full engine rebuild with slightly higher compression -Many new 2001 parts -Body kit from Sao Paulo Brazil, featured front page on magazine over there. Build custom front full fairing and new rear tailpiece, lights, headlight, and new clip on handlebars. Black on silver and white with a dark black custom windscreen. -Aftermarket electrical Tach over old cable system. -Re-painted gas tank in straight black Much more I can''t even remember. I initially purchased the bike for $2000.00 and sold for over $4000.00 in the end. (See before and after pics)
