Member Info: Started out on a Yammie XS250, moved up to a VF1000, then built my 1975 FLH1200. After relocating to South East Asia I went back to scratch with a Minsk 125. I currently own a VT250 and a Virago 400 (the Harley is in storage in Australia).

Info: Purchased as a basket case then spent 18 months of hard work, blood, sweat and beers . . . Replaced the original 3-speed box with a 4-speed, fitted a ´76 model carbie and a KuryAkyn air cleaner, added post ´84 driving lights and indicators, swapped the solo seat for king/queen and re-routed all of the external control wiring through the handlebars. Info: The previous owner surgically removed the fairing and instrumentation with a truck. During the process he broke his collarbone and, for a short time, lost his nerve for fast bikes on slow Vietnamese roads. Late last year I removed the l/h handlebar, using a taxi. Purchased: Oct 2004
Info: This bike was purchased at 6am on a Sunday morning, during a Saturday night drinking binge. Woke up Monday morning and there she was in the front yard. Took me forever to find the ignition switch. After a phone call to the previous owner, I was enlightened. The faux fuel cap is the ignition switch. Where´s the fuel tank? That´s under the seat.

Sold: Jan 1999
Info: I purchased this bike to avoid the dramas of using the company car in Phnom Penh peak hour traffic. Removal of the muffler baffles certainly cut down on the amount of times I had to use the horn. I didn''t actually sell this bike . . . she went missing early in ''99. Never saw her again.
