[IF YOU WANT PICS OF MY BIKE E-MAIL ME I HAVE SOME GREAT PICS OF ABOUT THE CLEANEST ´88 YOU´LL EVER SEE! ALSO IF YOU HAVE A ´88 RM 250 SEND ME YOUR PIC I CANT UPLOAD MY PHOTO TO THE WEB SITE YET]my 1988 suzuki rm 250 is big bored to a 305 ported and polished by mototassinari. I got the top end off my local suzuki dealer that used to race the ´88 back in the day. He sold me the top end for $250 dollars w/ a new pistion and bore and hone. He already had it big bored ported and polished back in ´89 and had three different top ends to the bike. I happened to be lucky and get his last top end he had. he told me it was his fastest top end ( save the best for last). this bike f****in rips!! i raced a ´96 cr 250 and it was no contest. I then raced my buddys ´85 cr 500 and we where neck to neck untill we hit 5 gear and he started to pull away slowly. Very good cosidering the size difference and that the ´85-´87 cr 500 are the fastest 500 honda ever produced.(as a side note that same race my freind melted his piston sooo badd that you could see behind the rings on the exhaust side..it was narly!! I think it had a small leak in the radiator.) |
