Information: The XT225 was purchased in April of ´04. The bike is easy to handle and manuver. It is durable, handles well but is under powered if you want a really aggressive bike. I´m 5´2 and the selling point on this bike was the low seat height (the only other bike that I found close was the Suzuki DT, I personaly was attracted to the Yamaha XT). The 225cc motor is fine for somebody of my size and stature. Although after adding an fmf power core 4 pipe and re-jetting it I should eat my comments about being underpowered. I love the expression on peoples faces when I pass them on the road on a dirt bike (being street legal) and then when they notice I´m a girl...... that´s the best!
