Information: I bought the bike in the Spring of 2002, and for a twelve-year-old bike, it was in amazingly great shape. For aftermarket parts, it has an FMF Fatty Gold Series pipe, Pro-Circuit silencer/spark arrestor, .20 over Wiseco, boreable steel sleeve, and radiator guards.
The bike had been used in some open class runs prior to my ownership, and has had the headlight, tailight combo removed. Plans are to find aftermarket equivalents and make this bike street-legal in Michigan.
Some engine performance work has been done in the form of some porting and polishing of the intake tract, and some exhaust port work (deburring, general clean-up).
I''m running a Treleborg on the back, nice digger.
I have replaced the CDI recently which required a mod due to the fact that the 1990-style CDI''s are no longer available. Had to use a 1991-style CDI, which required a mod to the stator back plate to drastically reset the timing for the updated CDI box. Not too tuff, and a good learner.
The bike is way fast! Carries the front tire anytime, everywhere. Gotta hang on real tight!
Love this machine, those Euros know how to build ''em. Beats Jap engineering anyday.
Photos coming soon!
