Information: Hello, I came across a picture of a 3 Wheeler that we built in the mid 70s. It started out with a Yamaha 125cc motor with an electric start my Dad had laying in the driveway. He also had a Cushman golf cart rear end sitting by itself. I thought of building a go-cart. My brother got involved and we started building. A couple of friends got involved with their left over parts. The finished product was a 3 wheeler. The frame was custom built to hold the motor side way. We build a custom drive shaft. We took either a Kawasaki 90 front neck of the frame or a small Harley (can’t remember) and welded to the frame. The front forks and handles bars came off a CT70. (We had these left over because we took the forks and tires off an SL70 and put them on the CT70 to make our own ST70) The gas tank I think is the Kawasaki 90. Made a battery box so we could make use of the electric start. To shift, we had a lever on the shift pedal so we could operate by hand. A chopper seat and sissy bar.
