This bike has been a right laugh,Despite uncle nobhead taking me off two weeks after buying it.Only intended three thousnd per year while racking up huge milage on my zzr250(in 1990 section)instead 40,000 was added..........................................................................
A few weeks ago i was enjoying a nice ride out up in scotland,Unfortunatley i was stopped by the local plod ,it turned out he had been trying to pull me over, for THE LAST 70 MILES!! thinking i had no brake light,lucky for me it was working, but my tax had run out oops!!............
The officer informed me he had to reach some silly speeds to catch my machine.It was accepted that i knew the roads well,I was using engine braking up to corners,so no brake light was used,the short straights and unpredictable bends suited the bike very well..........I did see light behind(about half a mile)but assumed itwas some jonny boy racers having fun.Despite no tax i was let off with the speedig offence,and given the speech about driving at 90Mph throught thick fog, not slowing down for bends at 3 in the morning, whilst deer were running across the road blah blah blah.........VERY,VERY NICE DIBBLE THANK YOU....
My licece is still shiny clean ........................................................................................................................................
By the way anyone curious about fitting a scotoiler(tourig kit) the tdm is on its origional chain at 40,000 miles never adjusted.£400 saved oh yes oh yes. Now youve seen my page nob off, and yes i am irrriterate er illagitemate
