Photo Info: Here we are in Austria, overlooking the Glossglockner mountian, which I rode to within 1200meters of its 3798 or so meters, yes thats right high altitude riding, no problems with heated handle grips you might think! well I was riding a naked bike as they called them so every piece of warm and cold clothing was put on, including my beanie, to keep the cold at bay. Watch out for sudden weather changes!! in the morning I was riding in what seemed like heaven but mid day, it was sleat, fine snow, rain, and icy, not a good combo with the new tires I had on and had hardly worn in. Im glad I got of the mountain in one piece, so then I decided to try and make Saint Moriz, in Switzerland, when flat chat, lovely roads, built for mad max, and it was about 8.30 -9.00pm, with the sun going down having a lovely blitz with this fzr yammy, when I noticed a helicopter buzzing us so I stopped at an servo to put my heart back down to my chest and let the heat die down, going too fast. wa going to get pinged by the copter if i wasnt careful, so it was a place called innsabruck where I called home that night. |
