Photo Info: What is it you ask? It is a $3.00 gasket scrapper that I bought at the local auto parts store. Then I used a bench grinder at work to grind the sharp edge down flat, rounding the corners a bit. Then I used a hand file at home to finish it off, and now I have a cheap timing cover removal tool. The scrapper is about 1/8th inch thick, and very sturdy. The custom ground end fits in the timing cover slot perfectly. |
