DRILLED EIGHT ONE QUARTER INCH HOLES IN EACH MUFFLER, STILL IDLES REASONABLY QUIETLY, ACCELERATES WITH A NICE DEEP RAP, CRUISES WITH JUST A HINT OF RUMBLE, IS PLEASANT MORE SO THAN STOCK MUFFLERS, COVERS UP HIGH PITCHED CAM AND ENGINE NOISE WHILE NOT SOUNDING LIKE IT IS REVVING UP EVEN AT 70 MPH 3 YEAR UPDATE, 14,700 MILES STILL LOVE THIS MACHINE, MPG LEVELED OUT AT 85 YEAR ROUND. IF I COULD REDO THE DRILLED-OUT EXHAUST, PUT 6 1/4 INCH HOLES IN UPPER AND 4 HOLES DRILLED INTO BOTTOM MUFFLER. ALSO, ENGINE OIL SHOULD BE AT LEAST 212 TO BURN OFF MOISTURE IN SUMP, SO OIL TEMP IS OK, IF NOT OVER 230F. STILL TRYING TO WEAR OUT THE ORIGINAL SPROCKETS AND CHAIN.
