Photo Info: July 22, 2006: "Independence" debut at the weekly BMWDFW Saturday breakfast in Bedford, Texas. I added the Givi top case after arriving DFW from the trip down from Sycamore, IL, where I bought the bike. The CBR1000F has no on-board storage, and since I occasionally need utility on my bikes, I decided to add this small top case. Not crazy about it, but it’s doing the job intended. "Indy" is running better all the time as well. It seems the engine is "de-gunking" as a result of not being ridden often, and I am riding it nearly every day. Next purchase will be a Zero Gravity sport-touring windshield. I have added a Kisan Signalmider and Pathblazer to it as well. |
