Photo Info: Racing in Canada in the late 60''s early 70''s. This 750 Honda was built by the late John Nelson with special parts from Honda Canada and Japan. It was very similar to the Dick Mann Daytona winner. I raced it for two seasons. After a crash on the sister bike, a 750 Production version, Mike Duff came out of retirement and set the lap record at the Harwood race track in Ontario with this bike. This shot was taken at corner 8 at Mosport, Ontario, during my first race on the bike. I raced against the mighty Triumph triples at the time. They were very quick, but I only ever lost to a full race Suzuki 500 factory two stroke. Randal Platt.
