I bought this thinking it was a '78. DMV inspected it and gave me my '78 title but everything on it is a '76 D3 except the front of the frame. I had it painted, tuned and went through the brakes and it has turned out to be a fun, good handling bike for around town and twisty country roads. This was the first street bike that I've worked on. It has way more wires than anything I've restored and the engine looks like a real chore to remove. Good thing it runs great.
