Almost track ready! Mirrors come off quickly with just one nut on the inside holding each mirror. License plate and rear turn sugnals come off by removing just two small bolts and nuts. Wheel weights are taped and front turn signals and lights are taped and painted Kawasaki black metallic spark. Tires are Bridgestone Battlax R10's.190/55/17 Evo type 2 medium rear tire. 120/70/17 Evo type 4 soft front tire. These tires work best when they get up to the proper heat. Use tire warmers or take the first or second lap carefully until enough heat builds up and then watch out. These tires really grip hard and due to their asymetrical profile allow for very high lean angles and super grip on corner exits. I have used the Dynojet quickshifter twice now on the track and it really helps acceleration down the straights. NOTE: The Dynojet quickshifter for the newer generation Ninja 1000's uses a special rod that must be cut to size as specified. A dremel with a cutting wheel works well for this. You may have to make a few adjustments to the shift linkage to get the QS to work well under wide open throttle shifts.
